A 1 day, www.ifparoma.org accredited, interactive Advanced Aromatherapy & Bodywork Course for Respiratory Health presented by Donna Robbins PGCE ITHMA.dip MIFPA MFHT & Jo Kellett TIDHA MIFPA CIMI (Tisserand Essential Oil Expert & Author).On this course you will learn about aromatherapy & advanced bodywork to address the health requirements of your clients respiratory & immune systems. You will expand your knowledge & skillset & therefore be able to offer even more invaluable support to them. Additionally, this important subject area is perhaps something that everybody is now becoming more & more interested in & mindful of considering the ongoing global viral situation we're all unfortunately dealing with.
Course Content Outline:
- A look at / review of physiological process & conditions of the respiratory system
- Advanced body work techniques including: massage, acupressure, breathing exercises, myofascial release, stretching, pulsing & pumping
- Students will have the choice to work the full chest area (not breast tissue) either uncovered or covered
- Essential oil theory on six oils to support & further enhance treatments
- Making a blend for use on the course & to take home with you
- Consideration of methods of application of professional preparations other than during clinical sessions / for after care
- Demonstrations, practical sessions & review
- Feedback & question / answer opportunities
- Course material handouts (as we all learn in different ways & you may like to have additional material to refer back to in order to support & ground your learning experience, you are welcome to take photos/video during the day. - To keep everybody safe, we are limiting spaces on this course more than usual. This means that places can fill up quickly so to secure your place please do get in touch asap. If you aren't able to get on it this time round we plan on running it again in 2022
- Social distancing will be adhered to during theory study
- During the practical components of the day appropriate, in clinic, PPE guidelines will be followed
- Good hygiene measures must be ensured by all attending
