Are you ready to be awestruck by fantastic Warhammer displays?It is almost time for the Armies on Parade grande finale!
As it has become customary we will host the final showcase for your armies on display at the store :)
How it all works:
This year there are 4 different categories you can participate in.
Solo: You have created an army by yourself and want to showcase it without a display board. Ages 16+
Team: You have created an army with someone together and want to display it with or without a display board. For all ages.
Youngbloods: For hobbyists between ages 13-15. Can be with or without a display board.
Armies on Terrain: You have created an army by yourself and have created a display board for it. Ages 16+
What counts as an "army" then?
For larger wargames like Warhammer 40k, Age of Sigmar and The Horus Heresy minimum is two complete units.
For skirmish games such as K*ll Team and Necromunda one complete unit is sufficient.
We encourage you to go bigger of course!
Maximum size for the display board is 24" x 24". It can be as high as you like ( as long as it doesn't hit our ceiling at the store ).
Timetable for the day:
11:00 Store opens and armies can be brought in for Display
11:30 Voting starts for the best displays. Anyone visiting the store during the day can vote on their favourite one.
17:30 Voting ends and votes are tallied up.
17:45- 18:00 Prize ceremony and packing up
Speaking of prizes this year there are some very cool metal plaques for EVERYONE who participates and then Gold, Silver and Bronze medals for each category!
Also a reminder that all models must be official Games Workshop / Forge World models. Bases can include third party parts and the display board as well. Unless they are bootleg version of official models of course.
