Armies on Parade 2025! My favourite day of the year. This is your chance to show off what the hobby means to you.
You have a 24x24inch or a 22x30inch space to display whatever you want instore on Saturday 25th October from 11-3. The only stipulation is that it's painted Games Workshop and Forge World miniatures, but no 3D printed models.
Display your arrayed army, do a battle scene or diorama, or think outside the box, it's an opportunity to show what you can do. If you just want to exhibit what you worked on recently, go for it. Make your board from scratch, use one of the realm of battle tiles, or if you want to use a 22inch by 30inch board so common in our awesome starter sets, then you can, we'll be set up to accept it (and there will be limited 22x30 boards on the day if time catches up to you). We're going to try to show off as many boards as possible, but we aren't the biggest store (yet), if you deffo want a space, book ahead and let me know to reserve you a spot.
All entries need to be set up on the day and taken away on the same day. No overnighters, so plan your day accordingly (besides, you'll need to come back to collect your community kudos and winner's trophy, am I right?).
There are going to be badges for every participant, and legitimate trophies for top 3 in each category
Let me tell you about the categories
- Solo (just you)
- Team (more than one person)
- Youngblood (under 16s)
You can also qualify for 'Armies on Terrain' in addition to the other 3 categories, which rewards the best scenery used.
On the day we won't start taking votes until 11. I'll be instore from 8 to allow peeps to set up without Johnny Public breathing over your shoulders.
