This free parade is dedicated to the men and women in all branches of the United States Armed Forces and features 18 patriotically-decorated floats carrying all branches of military personnel and numerous businesses and nonprofits who honor and support active and retired soldiers. View the parade for free from throughout the downtown section of the River Walk. Break out your red-white-and-blue and let’s show ‘em we appreciate our nation's freedom made possible through their sacrifices.The one-hour parade leaves the marina at 11:00 AM and proceeds eastbound on the river and goes through the Arneson River theatre starting at 11:05 AM. It continues throughout the downtown area. The parade is approximately 30 minutes long from when you see your first float - and that depends on where you are seated/watching from on the River Walk.
