We are thrilled to welcome you to ARK's Corks & Crafts; a fundraiser in support of our ARK Kids and their home accessibility projects which Reshape Their World.

Picture this: You and your friends arrive at Bowness Lion Hall and are filled with holiday cheer as you step into the warm embrace of this boutique wine tasting and shopping experience. Familiar and new seasonal songs fill the air as guitarist Danny Nix entertains the crowd and creates a festive ambience. You are handed tickets for three French wine tastings (sponsored by Kensington Wine Market), to savour and pair with a variety of charcuterie boards full of your favourite nibbles. You sit, sip, relax and listen to the live music o discover.

Once you have finished your new favourite wine, you explore the artisan booths, admiring handmade items like ceramics, soap, jewelry, bread, toys, art, clothing, home decor, and more, treating yourself to a few goodies while ticking off your Christmas list. You try your luck at the 50/50 or raffle for door-prize bundles of items you've been admiring, donated by the artisans.

You head to the cash bar for a drink, just in time to toast to you, the artisans and sponsors like Uppercut Elevators & Lifts for supporting ARK. You learn about ARK, the home accessibility projects that help Calgary children with mobility difficulties access their homes with ease. You hear that by attending Corks & Crafts you're helping kids be able to now participate in simple pleasures like playing at the kitchen table with a sibling, have an enjoyable shower routine, or sit supported in their wheelchair to watch their favourite TV show.

You find yourself smiling and satisfied as you head home with your bags, stomach, and heart full, ready to spoil loved ones with the perfect treasures you found for them and to tell them about ARK.
