About this Event
We are skipping security headlines this month since we have a double feature. Security headlines will resume next month. Be sure to hang around after both presentations for a chance to do some hands-on learning. We'll be picking locks and programming SAOs. Pack your lock picks and/or a computer if you want.
Common Vulnerabilities in Physical Access Control Systems
In this talk we'll cover the most commonly exploited avenues for covert entry, what makes covert and surreptitious entries different, and why "moar cameras" isn't the catch all solution.
Nate splits time at Superior Automotive Group as their security integrator and a member of their network security team. He's an alumni of Red Team Alliance but has been picking locks since childhood.
Programming SAO Badges
Anthony is returning to provide a follow-up to this presentation last month on designing and building SAOs. He'll cover how to program SAOs.
Anthony Lee (@alee97422 on discord ) is a tech enthusiast/hobbyist with a passion for hardware. He has a background in consumer level electronics repair (Apple devices , Android devices, gaming consoles).
We are always interested in hearing what you have to say. If you have any suggestions on topics or would like to share a project you're working on, email us at [email protected]. Each month, ArkanSec gets together to discuss recent security events & headlines, as well as to share technical experience with common tools.
