MENDVILLE x INFERNO BOOKINGS present
ARKANGEL (be)
Formed in 1997 in Brussels. Perhaps one of the most controversial bands from the notorious Belgian metalcore scene, Arkangel embraced a militant, vegan straight edge lifestyle like most European metalcore bands at the time. They accumulated a reputation for playing violent shows; however, their notoriety was amplified further when most if not all of the band members dropped their vegan straight edge mentality in their later career. They were notably signed under Good Life Recordings at one point; the same label that housed similar like-minded bands such as Congress, Deformity and Regression. Due to this, they are sometimes lumped under the H8000 scene, but technically speaking Arkangel isn’t a part of it considering they are from Brussels (nevertheless they are still heavily intertwined in the scene’s history, both musically and whatnot).
SORCERER (fr)
Formed in 2020 in Paris, France, SORCERER is a 5 pieces metal hardcore band. Their music consists in a combination between modern heavy hardcore, old school metalcore and a glimpse of emo that brings a unique touch to Sorcerer's tone: heavy and dark riffs merging with tormented, melancholy voice.
HELLBOUND (sco)
Hellbound on board, as the black clad riders of Northern Unrest, armed with blades and baring teeth. With a direct comparison to In Cold Blood, you only begin to see the scope of what they've done in 3 new songs (2023). A fusion of Cleveland hardcore and the grim and rolling hills of Scotland have made for a cinematic battle between the old guard and the pioneer spirit unknown outside of modern day GHC. Demonic vocal rhythms paired with a back end that doesn't quit and all accented by a screaming selection of strings make for a new darkness upon the land.
LISTED (be)
If Mindwar & Instructor had a lovebaby. This would be the result. Youngsters who haven’t reached the age of 18 yet, but sounding like they have been doing this for quite some time. Their first demo on Pressure Records sold out in a blink of an eye.
