About this Event
This month: THE AMAZING VALUE OF INVITING AND BUILDING COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS
What happens when schools, city and state organizations, nonprofits, and the faith community join forces? Mutually beneficial relationships are formed, families and communities thrive, and life-change happens. Join us as we explore how to invite and build these partnerships, and mobilize greater systems and avenues of support for children and communities.
Speaker - Robin Blumenthal
Robin is a trauma-informed trainer, parenting coach, speaker, and writer. She also serves as the Outreach Pastor at Pantano Christian Church in Tucson, AZ. She has a passion for partnering with schools, churches and the community. She believes that when our churches, schools, and communities understand the effects of trauma, it changes how we respond and show up for others. When we respond to those around us with compassion and empathy, we help build bridges of connection and healing.
Also, don't forget to register for our 7th Annual Reclaiming Hope Summit on 11/7!
More about the Arizona Trauma Informed Faith Coalition - The AZTIFC seeks to build resilient faith-based organizations in order to facilitate sensitive care, training, resource sharing, advocacy, and social movement; Not compromising our own faith traditions, but multiplying collaboration for the greater good of Tucson and the surrounding area.
These meetings are LIVE networking, training, and/or discussion meetings - we would love for you to join us!
We meet monthly on the 3rd Thursday of most months from 11AM-1PM. The meetings will be hosted at Hope City Church and free lunch for those attending is included and provided by Pantano Christian Church.
