Three words to describe the enormous area that Fort McDowell commands: warm, dusty, and dry. One of the more convoluted courses on the Spartan calendar, the trails and tracks at this venue never cease to twist, turn and keep you guessing as to where they'll take you next. Through towering cactus plants, part of the course runs through the Yavapai Nation Indian Reservation and it also inclines to bring you to the top of a mesa, with a stunning view.
