Arizona Glass Alliance, in collaboration with the Sonoran Glass School in Tucson, will host an evening with glass artist and educator Jason Christian at 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 18, 2026.The free, public event will be held at the Scottsdale Ranch Clubhouse, 10585 N. 100th St. in Scottsdale. Christian, who is based in Ballard, Washington, has built a national reputation for his work in contemporary glass. He has worked alongside leading artists in the field, including Lino Tagliapietra, and currently contributes to the creation of works for Dale Chihuly. His personal work reflects both his training with master artists and his own artistic perspective.
Christian’s work has been exhibited in major galleries throughout the United States. He has taught at the country’s three leading glass schools—Pilchuck Glass School, Penland School of Craft and the Pittsburgh Glass Center—and has served as an artist in residence at institutions including Pilchuck, the Museum of Glass in Tacoma, Wash., and the Corning Museum of Glass in New York.
