This conference will provide an in-depth update on the field of genetic counseling, with a focus on topics related to practicing in Arizona.
About this Event

The Annual Conference will allow all Arizonan genetics professionals to come together for a day of education and networking. Attendees can expect to gain knowledge on topics related to genetic counseling in Arizona. Experts in the field will focus on recent updates in each genetic counseling specialty, as well as practice-related issues. Talks will include topics such as gender inclusivity, heme malignancies, professional development, and more. Continuing Educational Units (CEUs) will be available for this event.

Event Photos

The Annual Conference will be held at the Desert Willow Conference Center. Check-in and breakfast will start at 7:45 AM with an Invitae sponsored breakfast talk starting at 8:00 AM. Opening remarks will start at 8:30 AM. Breakfast, lunch, snacks, and refreshments will be provided throughout the day.

Registration fees will include CEU fees, food for the day, and the cost of attendance.

Reduced registration fees are available for the following individuals:

  • Students. Registration fees for students are complimentary due to the generosity of Teal It Up! Individuals eligible for this benefit include graduate students, undergraduate students, and prospective genetic counseling applicants. Please contact Alexa Rosenblum at [email protected] for the promo code to receive your complimentary registration.
  • Individuals not wanting CEUs. If you do not need/want CEUs, you will be eligible for a $25 discount.
  • Financial assistance is also available for any member in need. Please email Alexa at [email protected] to inquire about this.

Sponsor a student with a donation!

Choose to sponsor a student's entire registration or just a portion. Any funds raised in excess will be put towards sponsoring students for next year's conference.

  • T-shirts will be available for purchase prior to the conference. Please click here to view or purchase. The cost is $25. Shirts will be available for pick-up at check-in. The deadline to order by is September 12, 2022. (Accommodations can be made if you would like a shirt, but are unable to attend the conference)
  • Stickers will be available to purchase at the conference. The cost is $3/sticker or $7 for a 3-pack. We will accept cash or Venmo. Examples are below.
