This is the first year of the conference in this format. For the last 3 years, our church has been a host site for the IF Conference, which has chosen to take the year off in favour of another conference. Believing it was still important for women to have a place to connect and deepen their faith, Hope Church has launched the Arise Women's Conference, which we hope to hold for many years.Our conference will host worship through live music on Friday and Saturday, feature keynote speakers from the stage, and sessions that will spark creativity. Lunch is provided on-site on Saturday, and snacks and drinks are available throughout the event.
This year's Arise Women's Conference aims to tell the truth about the struggle of women to find their identity in Christ in a world that demands that they always serve others. Our goal is to approach the challenges of these truths without sugar-coating but to always present a tone of hope, encouragement and love. We don't want to shy away from the hard conversations, but our conference is here to help women Arise, not just to point out where we have fallen.
