Get your palate-passport ready for a flavor journey to Argentina! In this class, you will learn how to make three different types of empanadas, as well as three unique and flavorful sauces for dipping and topping.
We’ll guide you through each step of the empanada-making process, from making the dough to preparing the fillings and sauces followed by assembling and shaping the empanadas to ensure that they're cooked to golden perfection. You'll learn tips and tricks for creating the perfect empanada and better understand the cultural significance and history behind this Argentinian classic.
Whether you're a seasoned cook or just starting out, this class is perfect for anyone who loves to explore new flavors and cooking techniques. Join us for a fun, interactive, and delicious culinary experience!
On the menu is a selection of Argentinian empanadas (ham & cheese, Argentinian beef, and sweet corn & cheese) both baked and fried paired with traditional sauces and toppings.
PLAYTE Kitchen in-person cooking classes are approximately 3 hours in length (2 hours in the kitchen and an hour to enjoy the food you’ve prepared). All guests will be provided kitchen towels, aprons, a class recipe packet to take home, and plenty of foodie fun along the way. A confirmation email will be sent upon ticket purchase will all the info you’ll need to know prior to arriving for your class.
