Tangon ja Argentiinalaisen kansantanssin viikonloppu
Tervetuloa viettämään argentiinalaista tanssia täynnä olevaa viikonloppua Tampereelle!
Vierailevat huipputanssijat ja -opettajat ovat Analía Vega ja Marcelo Varela (AR).
Heillä on laaja taiteellinen ura argentiinalaisen kansanperinteen ja tangon tanssijoina, opettajina ja koreografeina.
Heidän tanssissaan kiteytyy taidokas musikaalisuus, improvisointi ja parin välinen kontakti.
Tartu tilaisuuteen oppia heidän kanssaan!
Ohjelmassa on kaksi tangoseminaaria, chacarera-tunti sekä 2 milongaa, joissa on vähän kansanmusiikkia.
Tangoseminaarit on tarkoitettu jatko-, keski- ja edistyneen tason tanssijoille.
Kansantanssituntia varten ei tarvita aikaisempaa kokemusta eikä paria!!!
Tule yksin, parin kanssa tai kaveriporukalla!

19-22 MILONGA FOLKLÓRICA. DJ Marcelo Varela.
Aloitamme viikonlopun tanssien argentiinalaista tangoa ja kansantanssia.
Tule tutustumaan ihaniin uusiin maestroihin!
Lauantai 12.4.
12-15.30 Tangoseminaari 1: Tangon juurilta. Vanhojen milonguerojen askelia ja niiden uusia versioita.
(opetusta 2 x 90min, oppituntien välissä 30 minuutin tauko)
19-20 Pre-Milonga-tangotunti by La Fábrica del Tangon opetiimi (kaikille tasoille)

Milongassa tanssitaan tangoa, milongaa, valssia ja pari tandaa kansantanssimusiikkia.

12-14.15 Tangoseminaari 2: Käännökset ja spiraalit. Pyöreitä liikkeitä tanssilattialle.

*Tanssitunnin ja milongan aikana tarjolla kahvia ja teetä. Ota mukaan suosikkijuomat ja välipalat. Voit tuoda jotain herkullista jaettavaksi tanssituntien yhteiseen pöytään.

Tango and Argentine folk dance weekend
Welcome to a weekend full of Argentine dance in Tampere!
The top dancers and teachers Analía Vega and Marcelo Varela (AR) are visiting Finland for the first time.
They have an extensive artistic career as dancers, teachers and choreographers of Argentine folklore and tango.
Their dance is characterized by skillful musicality, improvisation and connection between the couple.
Take the opportunity to learn with them!
The program includes two tango seminars and a chacarera lesson and 2 milongas with a bit of folklore teast.
The tango seminars are intended for advanced, intermediate and advanced dancers.
No previous experience or partner is required for a folk dance lesson!!!
Come alone, with a partner or with a group of friends!
PROGRAM
Friday 11.4.
18-19 Folk dance lesson: chacarera! (for all levels, no partner required)
19-22 MILONGA FOLKLÓRICA. DJ Marcelo Varela.
We start the weekend dancing Argentine tango and folk dance.
Come and meet the wonderful new maestros!
Saturday 12.4.
12-15.30 Tango seminar 1: From the roots. Steps of old milongueros and their new versions.
(teaching 2 x 90min, 30-minute break between lessons)
19-20 Pre-Milonga tango lesson by La Fábrica del Tango teachers team (for all levels)
20-0.30 MILONGA
Show time! Our wonderful maestros Analía Vega and Marcelo Varela will perform around 22:30h.
The milonga will feature tango, milonga, waltz and a couple of tandas of folk dance music.
Dance classes participants €15, others €20.
Sunday 13.4.
12-14.15 Tango seminar 2: Turns and spirals. Circular movements for the dance floor.
(2 x 60 min lessons, 15 minute break between lessons)
Coffee and tea will be available during the dance classes and milongas. Bring your favorite drinks and snacks. You can bring something delicious to share at the common table during the dance classes.

Analia Vega and Marcelo Varela are dancers, teachers and choreographers of Argentine Folklore and Tango.
Their style reveals mastery in improvisation and musical interpretation.
They enrich their dance with other activities such as: theater, ballet, contemporary, music in search of constant research.
“For us, tango is not a role-playing dance, where one leads and the other follows. It is two beings who dance and unite in music, forming that trilogy called Tango.
We have a long history of more than 25 years of experience, working in dance, transmitting and enjoying this universal language.”
Marcelo Varela is a graduate as a National Master of Folkloric Dances.
Analia Vega, recently graduated from the Feldenkrais Method Training.
-They have performed in the most prestigious milongas in Buenos Aires, as well as in the most important Tango shows.
-Marcelo Varela was part of the company “Forever Tango” directed by Luis Bravo, performing in the United States (Chicago, San Diego, Seattle, San Francisco, Broadway New York. Canada (Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver).
-They have participated in the stable cast of the Cathedral of Tango “Caño 14” as Dancers and Choreographers. A house created by El Polaco Goyeneche, with a long history of Tango, there sang and played the most important artists of the genre, Goyeneche, Stampone, Alba Solis, Baffa, Berlingieri, Guillermo Fernandez, Jorge Sobral, Alberto Podesta among others
-They participated as dancers in the play "Marathon" by Ricardo Monti, adapted version by Marcelo Moncarz. In the cycle of Teatro Leído in the 100 years of the Teatro Maipo.
-Choreography, idea, assembly and direction of the Show carried out by the “Instituto auf dem Rosenberg” of Sant Gallen (Switzerland).
-They were part of the “Tango Review” Company directed by Armando Calo, which performed in Colombia, Costa Rica and Ecuador.
-They participated in the cultural event, organized by the Italian Ministry of Culture, “A Bridge between Cultures”, performing in several cities of the country.
-They participated as dancers in the film "Evita" by Alan Parker, "Lifting de Corazon" "Encuentro entre enamorados" by Eliseo Subiela, among others.
-They have a career and the pleasure of having taught classes and performed in several editions of important Tango Festivals such as: "Oster Tango Festival" Basel (Switzerland) - "Lugano Tango Festival" Lugano (Switzerland) - "Lo de Silvia Tango Festival" Tel Aviv (Israel) - "Champagne Tango Meeting" Görlitz (Germany) - "La Vida del Tango" Chelyabinsk (Russia) - "River Tango International Tango Festival" London (England) - "Nora's Tango Week" California (United States) - First Festival of "Folklore Argentino Adentro" Moscow (Russia) - "Phantastango" (Germany) - "Tango Zoom Forum" St. Petersburg (Russia) among others.
-They have been summoned as Jury for the World Tango Championship in Buenos Aires in several instances, in Qualifying and Semifinal categories.
-Marcelo Varela, was invited by Graciela González, as curator of the jury at the World Tango Championship, Buenos Aires 2023. Selecting professionals for the Stage Tango and Dance Floor Tango Categories.
