About this Event
Felipe Martinez and Ayano Yoneda teach Tango 101, a series of four weekly classes starting Wednesday, September 25th. At the start of each class, we practice tango technique together as a group. Then we find partners to learn simple, elegant figures for social dancing. No partner necessary, no experience necessary.
This is a progressive series, and we encourage everyone to sign up for the entire series if possible.
The classes are taught using the terms “leaders” and “followers” and are inclusive to queer, trans, and non-binary people. Role-switching is welcome.
Wednesdays: Sept. 25th, Oct. 2nd, 9th, and 16th
