? Join us for a paw-some time at Dogtown Throwdown! Whether you’re a pup parent or just love all things dog, this weekend is packed with fun, fur, and festivities. This will be the last throwdown of the year, so don't miss it!With pet-friendly patios, live music, and endless fun for both dog lovers and their furry friends, this is the perfect weekend outing for everyone. The festivities kick off with the closure of Main St. from Broadway to 5th St. at 4 pm on Friday, and the event runs through 10 pm on Saturday.
Dogtown Throwdown is open to the public, and all well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome! See the full lineup of entertainment listed below.
Friday, October 11
4 pm: Kick off the weekend with a delicious beverage or appetizer during Dogtown Happy Hour.
5-7 pm: Emily Fenton will be back at Blackberry Market singing a mix of folk and contemporary indie-rock.
7 pm: Catch Whoa Dakota's unique blend of soulful indie-pop and classic country live at Argenta Library.
Saturday, October 12
All Day: Water stations and other fun activities will be available to keep your furry friends entertained.
12-3 pm: Meet adorable animals from the NLR Animal Shelter and maybe even find your new forever companion.
12 pm Visit Argenta United Methodist Church for a special Blessing of the Animals.
12-2 pm: Enjoy outdoor seating on the street or one of the pet-friendly parklets while sipping on champagne or mimosa from various Argenta restaurants during Sparkling Saturday.
1-5 pm: Be sure to stop by the Flyway Fall Pop-Up Market in front of Flyway Brewing for a chance to shop local vendors and enjoy craft beer and food.
5-7 pm: Blackberry Market will bring back Chris "Bucket" Shelton for an acoustic set.
7 pm: Cap off the weekend with The Big Dam Horns on the main stage! This powerhouse band delivers a horn-infused blend of jazz, blues, soul, and R&B, topped off with a knockout punch of rock & roll.
