Shae Thomas is the owner of an insurance brokerage and has spent the past ten years in the insurance industry. She is the proud mom of two amazing kids, Leila (19) and Lennox (8), and partner to Rick. Originally from Alabama and Florida, Shae has called Virginia home since June 2016 and truly loves the community she’s built here.
Before transitioning into insurance, Shae spent several years as a high school English and Special Education teacher—an experience that greatly shaped who she is today. Her background in education fostered her patience, attention to detail, and strong belief in clear communication and meaningful relationships.
Outside of work, Shae can often be found at the beach, reading, learning something new, cheering on her kids at sporting events, or diving into a creative project. She is passionate about cultivating genuine connections and building community, both personally and professionally.
