Are You Coming, Oliver? is a one-act drama set entirely in a late-night subway station in NYC, where a young man named Oliver encounters many different strangers while waiting for his train. Each of these interactions forces Oliver to confront different philosophies about life, love, faith, addiction, purpose, and hope. In the beginning, Oliver is closed-off, irritable, and clearly running from whatever problem he is facing. But, as the story progresses, and more and more strangers appear, you'll learn Oliver’s real motives and the real reason he is at a train station so late.
This show contains flashing lights and loud sounds along with suicidal thoughts and actions, domestic violence, depression, anxiety, pregnancy complications, substance abuse, and addiction. Feel free to excuse yourself if you are at any time uncomfortable with the content being presented.
