About this Event
Whisky lovers attending Dr. Don Livermore’s Master Class will get a historical understanding of why blending was such a critical development to the Canadian whisky category. A deep dive into the science of rye and how the flavours interact with highly aged whisky. This Master Class will introduce three whiskies from the JP Wiser’s decade series including the highly acclaimed 42 year old whisky, the newly launched 28 year old whisky, and their baby brother the 24 year old whisky.
Dr. Don Livermore is the Master Blender of Hiram Walker & Sons Limited in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. He is responsible for some of Canada’s award-winning whiskies such as JP Wiser’s, Lot 40, and Pike Creek.
