About this Event

You may ask yourself, are there any benefits to fishing?

The answer would be, Yes!

The benefits to fishing are numerous. Just being out in nature, enjoying the beauty, peace and tranquility can help reduce stress levels, promoting a sense of calmness and well-being.

Whilst fishing is relaxing it also requires you to be focused as you tie knots, put bait on the hook, cast your line, identify bites, strike, play and land fish. This all helps you clear your mind of concerns as you focus on your fishing.

Catching fish is fun and exciting and can boost self-esteem and confidence.

You experience physical exercise by carrying your tackle and walking distances to your spot as well as exercising your triceps and biceps as your cast and retrieve your rod.

You develop your problem-solving skills and creativity as you have to constantly adapt and change tactics as weather conditions change.

You can fish as a hobby or be competitive and enter matches.
