Schooner Bowdoin and her crew, Amesbury's own Graham McKay among them, were assigned the hopeful goal to take students to the Arctic Circle by June 20, 2024 with planned stops in places such as Newfoundland and Greenland. Graham had a camera and drone on hand, and brought back stories of cold and tricky passages to remote villages, 24-hour daylight, and the challenges of navigating iceberg-laden water on an historic boat built specifically for the task. Did they make it to the arctic circle in time?
