Roedd arddangosfa Y Lle Celf Eisteddfod Genedlaethol Wrecsam wedi amlygu dau artist ifanc brwdfrydig. Yn gyntaf yr artist amlddisgyblaethol Barnaby Prendergast ennillydd Ysgoloriaeth Dewi Bowen . Yr ail oedd Mia Roberts wnaeth creu dipyn o ddiddordeb ar y maes gyda'i gwaith uchelgeisiol . Y cysylltiad roedd y ddau artistiaid yma yn rhan o sin sglefrfyrddio gogledd Cymru
Ar y 7fed o Fawrth bydd detholiad o sgyrsiau a trafodaethau i cyd fynd hefo diwylliant sglefrfyrddio Bangor wedi ei gwireddu gan y ffotograffydd a cyfarwyddwr ffilmiau Yannick Hammer fydd yn trafod y diwylliant gweledol difyr mae ffilmio sin sglefrfyrddio dros y degawdau wedi bod mewn cofnodi dinas Bangor .
This years National Eisteddfod Art Exhibition put a spotlight on two very exiting young artists. The first , multi disciplinary artist Barnaby Prendergast, who won the prestigious Dewi Bowen New artist scholarship,the second Mia Roberts a 2024-25 recipient of Artist Futures break through artist fund who’s ambitious works were the talk of the Maes’. The connection, both artists were part of the vibrant North Wales skate board scene .
On the 7th of March a series of talks and presentations about Bangor Skate Culture will be curated by photographer and film maker Yannick Hammer who's decade long documentation of this movement offers a fascinating insight with Bangor as its back drop .
