About this Event
Archie Ennis has just been diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD)
This is a serious condition that causes progressive muscle weakness.
With the progression of the muscle weakness Archie is finding it hard to stand up and walk up the stairs. The doctor said most boys end up in a wheel chair at the age of 10 and that the life time expectancy is shorter with this condition (early 30's)
There is a doctor in LA that said Archie is eligible for gene therapy in the hospital. This cost 3.2 million euro starting off.
As a club we stick together through thick and thin but as a football team we are family and family is everything.
This devastating news has hit our team massively as Archies Mammy is one of our players Ùna , and also Archies Aunty is our Captain Joanne .. The Ennis family need us more then ever , and as a community we pull together through these times .
We urge anyone near or far to get on board in what ever you see and help this sweet little boy get his treatment 💙
There will be also a pay at the gate option
