Archie Ray - A geek, with a band, who plays Mixed-Pop MusicYueh is a four pieces ensemble in a classic alternative-rock format. Created by Diego Nunez during the pandemic, Yueh was initially thought as a solo ambient project with clear influences from the South American Post Rock. After the end of the pandemic, the project switched to a band format and has been constantly reinventing itself through its multiple, often unrelated influences. Yueh draws inspiration from Italian Hip Hop, American Emo and Hardcore, Japanese Post-Rock, Anison, classic Latin American Rythms and most recent expressions of alternative rock. Currently formed by Debora, Alex, Gianluca and Diego, Yueh is a space for open experimentation with a single mandate: not constraining itself to a single genre, language, mean or audience.
Soulhole are four guys from the south coast of the UK, with a provocative fusion of funk-rock and blues. Their sound fuses influences from an eclectic array of genres in popular music, filling your ears with funky guitar riffs and a captivating keys/synth player, allowing the rhythm section to lay down the foundations for the crowd to funk. Having performed at noticeable venues such as, o2 (Bristol, Bournemouth, London), the lighthouse, and Bestival and supporting the likes of Reef, Tom Misch and the entitled sons, the ‘sound of the summer’ winners are always hungry for more!
