The Araluen Arts Centre is hosting the Archibald Prize 2024 exhibition from 24 April to 15 June, 2025. Toured by the Art Gallery of New South Wales, this marks the first time the prestigious exhibition will travel to the Northern Territory.
The Archibald Prize, awarded since 1921, celebrates portraiture, supports artists, and honours prominent Australians. The 2024 prize saw a record 1,005 entries, including the highest number of submissions from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists.
