Ages 5 and older are welcome! The archery workshop is free, walk-ins are accepted but the instructors prefer that you register for your time slot(s).
To sign up, send an email to [email protected] or call (318) 742-1219 and leave a message for Sherri. Include your name, contact info, number of participants with ages, and the time slot between 9-11 you'd like on the hour or half hour (Ex. Jane Doe 888-9999 2 kids ages 7 & 11, 9:30).
Please be sure that your child is able to follow and understand the safety rules as listed below. You may sign up for as many slots as you want. The 30 minute time slots start at 9:00 AM with the last slot starting at 11:00 AM and ending at 11:30 AM.
All equipment is provided. Each archery session includes introductory instruction with safety rules and shooting practice.
We are excited to provide the opportunity for children to experience the fun of archery. To keep all children and others safe, we have safety rules that MUST be followed or any child who does not follow them will be asked to step aside from the archery session.
Safety rules include:
No pointing loaded bow at any person
Only shoot at targets, not straight up in air
No running around bows or arrows
Non participants stay 5-10 feet behind archers unless instructor has agreed otherwise
