This free workshop is for adults 18 and over. Learn to track hit deer and bring your vertical bow to get sighted in together or try our bows
About this Event

Join the Illinois Learn to HUnt team for this NEW workshop all about archery deer hunting. This workshop will be hands-on! We will have an archery course set up where we can practice and sight in your bow if you like. IT is time to be doing that folks! If you need any help with that, this is the workshop for that. Bring your own bow if you have one. Vertical bows only and no broadheads, sorry!! We will also have compound and traditional bows you can try also.

We will also be talking about after the shot and blood tracking. We will even do some simulated blood trailing together to get all practiced up for this fall.

We will also bring a dish made with wild game for snacky snacks for anyone hungry.

Feel free to bring your own food and drink also. We will take a short lunch break in the middle.

Dress to hike outside with ticks. Bug spray and long pants are probably a good idea.

This workshop is free, but registration is required. Attendees must be 18 or over.

We will meet at the Crab Orchard NWR visitors center class room.
