About this Event

The theme this year is "Pilgrims of Hope: Our Journey in Christ” which will affirm women’s journeys—joys, struggles, challenges and victories—and provide tools for continuing to walk as women of faith on the path with Jesus Christ.

Come enjoy a self-care day with prayer, performance, song, workshops, and other activities.

KEYNOTE SPEAKER

Valerie D. Lewis-Mosley RN, D.Min., MAPM, MSJ - Healer, Scholar, Pastoral Theologian, Author and Social Justice Advocate.

Dr Mosely-Lewis has graduate studies in Nursing Leadership from New York University, is a graduate of Xavier University of Louisiana-Institute for Black Catholic Studies (IBCS), and has doctrinal certification from the Archdiocese of Newark, where she has served in ministry for over thirty years. She serves on the AON Advisory Board for the African American African and Caribbean Apostolate and nationwide as a mentor to youth and young adults, evangelist, retreat leader, revivalist, public speaker, life coach and Spiritual Director. Among her specialties are catechesis to children and youth and women’s spirituality. She is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Theology at Caldwell University, Caldwell, NJ, and Xavier University of Louisiana IBCS. She is a member of the Black Catholic Theological Symposium. She belongs to various International Honor Societies, is a Silver Life member of the NAACP and a Lady of the Confraternity of the Knights of St. Peter Claver. We are honored to have Dr Lewis-Mosley with us for 2024 BCWC in Detroit, MI.
