About this Event
The Archaeology Roadshow is a four-hour fair where archaeologists and
heritage specialists from agencies, Tribes, universities, companies and
museums, create temporary exhibits and hands-on activities related to recent
projects taking place in our region. Besides “pop-up” exhibits, the
Roadshow features a panel of experts who analyze and interpret personal
treasures visitors bring to learn more about. No financial appraisals are
given. Practice throwing a spear or making a stone tool. Learn about First Foods. This family friendly event gives visitors of all ages the chance to learn more about Oregon’s past and its connections to us today. It is completely free and open to all. Visit archaeologyroadshow.org for more information.
