Get ready to battle for glory at the Pittsburgh Gaming Expo’s Arcade Fight Frenzy Tournament, hosted by the Pittsburgh Arcade Collective! This tournament features 60-minutes of non-stop, head-to-head battles against other players on iconic arcade fighting games like Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter II, Tekken 3, and more! Feel the adrenaline as you unleash combos, master special moves, and outwit your opponent. Whether you’re a seasoned fighter or a newcomer ready to prove yourself, every match is a shot at victory—and bragging rights.The Arcade Fight Frenzy Tournament is a “Frenzy” style format where registered players will compete head-to-head in matches continuously for 60 minutes, beginning promptly at 4pm on Friday, October 3rd. Registered players will be randomly paired against another player on a random arcade fighting game; once the match is finished and the players report who won, players are paired with a new opponent and another arcade fighting game. This process repeats until the 60-minute clock expires. At the end of the 60-minutes, players are ranked based on the total number of matches won versus matches played.
Registration is FREE! Players can register in person on Friday, October 3rd from 3:00pm-4:00pm at the registration table in the arcade. Registration is limited to 30 players. Registered players will receive a tournament entry badge.
Finals - The top 8 players from the frenzy will compete in a double elimination playoff bracket beginning at 5:00PM to determine the tournament champion. The last player standing is the champion and receives a trophy and t-shirt prize; runner-up receives a t-shirt prize.
