The Contemporary Dayton (The Co) announces an exciting new program called Arcade Arts & Wellness Summer Series, a multi-phased free and open wellness program. Beginning July 12, and continuing through to September 6, 2024 there will be yoga classes, dance therapy and meditations in the Historic Rotunda of the Dayton Arcade and inside The Co Galleries. Arcade Arts + Wellness is designed to foster holistic well-being through a fusion of art and wellness initiatives. By offering a diverse range of activities, workshops, and resources, participants will be encouraged to explore self-expression, engage in meaningful conversations, and cultivate resilience and empathy. All sessions are free for attendees with Eventbrite sign-up. Attendees must sign personal waivers before participating in physical activities.
Wednesdays from 5:30-6:30 pm-- Yoga from Day Yoga
Thursdays from 12-1 pm-- Movement Therapy
Fridays from 5:30-6:30 pm--Mindfulness & Meditation from The Heartfulness Institute
Saturdays from 11 am-12 pm--Chair Yoga for Seniors
