About this Event
Whether you've always wanted to try throwing, have attended an Arc pottery course before, or want to develop your existing skills, our course has been specially designed for you! Create unique and bespoke ceramic pieces to take home. The course and the work produced would also make the perfect gift.
Friday 22nd April 2022 Week 1: Learn to centre and make a small pot.
Friday 29th April 2022 Week 2: Learn to throw a cylinder
Friday 6th May 2022 Week 3: Learn to throw a bowl
Friday 20th May 2022 Week 4: Glaze and finish all pieces ready for firing
Please note the gap of one week between weeks 3 & 4 to allow for bisque firing.
Our team of dedicated ceramicists will fire all artworks, and we will inform you via email (check your junk/spam too!) when they are ready to collect, approximately 2 weeks later.
Please purchase your chosen time for Friday 22nd April. This will auto-enrol you onto the whole course. By purchasing, you will attend 4, weekly sessions on the above dates at your chosen time. Please ensure that you are able to attend all sessions, as they cannot be rescheduled or amended due to high demand. This course is booked individually, and will have a maximum of 2 people per session.
Ticket price includes all equipment and materials.
Our Gallery Café will be open, serving delicious baked treats and drinks for you to enjoy. For longer workshops, please feel free to bring your lunch!! You’re also more than welcome to explore our exhibition and retail collection.
Hand sanitiser will be available at all sessions, we will ensure our spaces are well ventilated and thoroughly cleaned, and our staff will be regularly testing before coming in to work.
