Explore Sydney and beyond with Arc Goes To! Throughout the year we take UNSW students on urban adventures and awesome out-of-town trips. Run by students, for students, Arc Goes To gets you soaking up the sights and sounds from Bondi to the Blue Mountains.
We will start our journey at Circular Quay Wharf (Meeting point 1) and catch the ferry to Watsons Bay (Meeting Point 2). You are welcome to meet us at Circular Quay or Watsons Bay Wharf. After arriving and checking in, we will start our hike to the gap lookout.
After completing the walk, attendees can continue exploring and experiencing the rest of the area or join us for a meal at the famous Doyle’s restaurant at Watson’s Bay whilst dipping their feet at Watson’s Bay beach.
Itinerary:
9:30am – Meet at Circular Quay
9:45am – Catch the Ferry to Watson’s Bay
10:08am – Meet up with other people at Watson’s Bay
10:15am – Have some fun icebreakers
11:30am – Walk commences
12:15pm – Swim at Watson’s Bay beach
1:00pm – Eat lunch or buy lunch at Doyle’s (optional).
What to bring:
- Drink bottle and lunch
- Opal Card
- Wear Comfortable Shoes
- Sunscreen, hat and sunnies
- Swimmers and towel (optional- if you want to swim)
- Your Student ID with your 2024 Arc Sticker. This will be checked by one of the AGT Representatives and you will not be allowed to enter the premises without it.
Meeting Point:
Circular Quay, Wharf 4, at 9:30am.
Please arrive on time, to give yourself enough time to have your ID checked by an AGT volunteer before we catch the ferry.
