The Joint Scientific Meeting run by ARC and the British Herpetological Society (BHS) will be held in person at the Bournemouth Natural Science Society museum on Saturday 30th November 2024. This is a very popular one day conference with science and research based presentations from the UK and overseas.
Highlights this year include talks on; mapping lizard operative temperature in tropical environments with aerial drones, perceptions of adders and sand lizards of Wales, understanding the relationship between people and their ponds, genomic sequencing and herpetofauna conservation and climate change and Korean frogs. The day ends with a raffle which raises funds for various great herpetofauna related causes. Apt raffle prizes are very welcome.
We look forward to seeing old and new faces at what promises to be an interesting and enjoyable meeting!
