Yvonne Blomer’s The Last Show on Earth, her fourth book of poems, came out with Caitlin Press in 2022 and Palimpsest Press released Book of Places: 10th Anniversary Edition this fall. Yvonne’s poetry books also include As if a Raven (Palimpsest Press, 2015), and the anthologies Refugium: Poems for the Pacific and Sweet Water: Poems for the Watersheds (Caitlin Press, 2017 and 2021). Sugar Ride: Cycling from Hanoi to Kuala Lumpur (Palimpsest Press, 2017) is her travel memoir exploring body, time, and travel. Yvonne is the past Poet Laureate of Victoria, BC, and the past Artistic Director of the weekly reading series Planet Earth Poetry. She lives on the traditional territories of the Lək̓ʷəŋən (Lekwungen) people in Victoria, BC, specifically on the lands of the W̱SÁNEĆ Peoples. Jesse Keith Butler is an Ottawa-based poet who recently won third place in the Kierkegaard Poetry Competition. You can find his poems in a variety of journals, including Arc, Blue Unicorn, THINK, and flo. His first book, The Living Law (Darkly Bright Press, 2024) is available wherever books are sold.
Lauren Turner is a disabled poet and essayist. Her chapbook, We’re Not Going to Do Better Next Time, was published by knife | fork | book in March 2018, and her full-length debut, The Only Card in a Deck of Knives, came out with Wolsak & Wynn in August 2020. The latter was shortlisted for the Fred Cogswell Award for Excellence in Poetry. Her work has appeared in Grain, Arc Poetry Magazine, PRISM International, Cosmonauts Avenue, The Maynard, The Ex-Puritan, canthius, and elsewhere. She lives in Tiohtiá:ke (Montréal) on the unceded land of the Kanien’kehá:ka Nation.
