Every month Juliet's Wine Director, Stephanie Eberle, partners with the industry's best winemakers, distributors, and indsutry experts to lead you through a one-of-a-kind educational experience pairing unique terroir with delectable dishes crafted by Chef Rob only found at Juliet Arboretum.
This month we are excited to welcome Anthony Truchard of Truchard Vineyards in Southeast Texas! With a century-old legacy steeped in wine, we're thrilled to learn more from Anthony about the elite selections curated for this edition of Flights and Bites. Come immerse yourself in each of our special offerings and grow your knowledge in the robust world of wine.
✨The Flight:
- Truchard Roussanne - floral aromas of pineapple, honeysuckle, and jasmine with highlights of brioche and vanilla
- Truchard Chardonnay - notes of pineapple, mango, Meyer lemon, quince, kumquat, green apples, spice, and white flower perfume
- Truchard Pinot Noir- rich aromas of black cherry, pomegranate and wild strawberry; with hints of rhubarb, tea and earth
- Truchard Cabernet- luscious aromas of raspberry, plum and cassis fill your senses with a touch of cedar and vanilla
✨The Bites:
- Crostini topped with whipped Sheep's milk feta, raspberry and rosemary jam, and crispy honey glazed prosciutto
- Spicy scallop ceviche served over a fried plantain and garnished with a crunchy chicharrón
- Sticky pork belly in a smokey saffron sauce, topped with roasted pepitas and green onion, served over a polenta medallion
- Potato pavé topped with a bacon and caramelized onion relish, duck confit, and finished with a bourbon sauce
