What: Recreation & Parks Annual Arbor Day EventWhen: Saturday, April 26th. 9am - Noon
Where: Ballinger Park - Meet at Mickey Corso Clubhouse
Why: This is our way to celebrate Earth Day and Arbor Day. Come be a part of your community and experience the fun (maybe hug a tree or two)! This event helps MLT maintain its Tree City USA status.
*Bonus why: lunch is provided to volunteers*
What you need to know:
- Rain or shine we will be out there! That being said, dress for the weather and the work. Wear boots or closed-toe shoes, and bring gardening gloves.
- We will have some gloves and tools available for volunteers, however, we do ask those who have tools (hand pruners, rakes, W**d pullers, etc.) to bring their own.
If you have a group that wants to attend, please contact Parks Supervisor Celina Williams at 425-776-1811 in advance. This helps us plan for food and volunteer projects for the day.
