Save Aravali Trust proudly announces the first Aravali Yatra of this season – and what better place to begin than the sacred forest of Mangar Bani! 🌳

Join us on Sunday 5th October 2025 at 6:00 AM as we walk together into the heart of the Aravalis.

Mangar Bani is more than just a forest – it’s a sacred grove a biodiversity hotspot and a living reminder of why the Aravalis must be protected. With its ancient trees cultural stories and serene landscapes this is the perfect start to our season of nature walks.

About Aravali Yatra

Aravali Yatra is a nature walk series by Save Aravali Trust organized from October to April. Through these treks we aim to:

✅ Educate participants about the biodiversity of the Aravalli.

✅ Explain how these mountains act as Delhi-NCR’s green lungs.

✅ Highlight threats like deforestation mining and urbanization.

✅ Inspire people to take action for environmental conservation.

It’s more than a trek—it’s a movement to protect our forests revive water bodies and reconnect with nature.


This season’s opening Yatra will help you:

Reconnect with nature after the rains

Experience the unique ecology of Mangar Bani

Walk mindfully and listen to the stories of the forest

Become part of the movement to protect the Aravalis


⚠️ Important Guidelines

✅ Open for all age groups (4+ years).

✅ Wear sports/trekking shoes and full-length trousers/jeans.

✅ Carry water in reusable bottles and plastic-free food/snacks.

❌ Smoking and alcohol are strictly prohibited.


A Special Appeal – Walk for a Cause

For the first time we are introducing a small registration fee for Aravali Yatra. Due to fund shortages our conservation efforts—like planting native trees and reviving water bodies—are at risk.

By participating you directly contribute to saving the Aravalli forests. All proceeds will support forest restoration and water conservation projects. If you can’t attend but still want to support you can donate here: (Payment link to be added).

As promised we will plant native trees on behalf of our participants—a step towards a greener Earth!

Save Aravali Trust is a volunteer-driven NGO working to restore forests conserve water bodies and spread environmental awareness.

Our key initiatives include:

✅ Creating and reviving water bodies in the Aravalli.

✅ Conducting awareness programs and internships.

✅ Collaborating with institutions and communities for sustainability.
