About Aravali Yatra

Aravali Yatra is a nature walk series by Save Aravali Trust, organized from October to April. Through these treks, we aim to:

✅ Educate participants about the biodiversity of the Aravalli.

✅ Explain how these mountains act as Delhi-NCR’s green lungs.

✅ Highlight threats like deforestation, mining, and urbanization.

✅ Inspire people to take action for environmental conservation.

It’s more than a trek—it’s a movement to protect our forests, revive water bodies, and reconnect with nature.

What to Expect

🌿 A 4 KM guided trek through the scenic Aravalli forests.

📖 Conversations on biodiversity, history, and environmental challenges.

🌍 A special Earth Day tribute—walking for nature and sustainability.

💚 A strict Leave No Trace policy—no littering allowed.

⚠️ Important Guidelines

✅ Open for all age groups (4+ years).

✅ Wear sports/trekking shoes and full-length trousers/jeans.

✅ Carry water in reusable bottles and plastic-free food/snacks.

❌ Loud music, smoking, and alcohol are strictly prohibited.

A Special Appeal – Walk for a Cause

For the first time, we are introducing a small registration fee for Aravali Yatra. Due to fund shortages, our conservation efforts—like planting native trees and reviving water bodies—are at risk.

By participating, you directly contribute to saving the Aravalli forests. All proceeds will support forest restoration and water conservation projects. If you can’t attend but still want to support, you can donate here: (Payment link to be added).

🌱 As promised, we will plant native trees on behalf of our participants—a step towards a greener Earth!
