Opplev det beste av arabisk film, musikk og mat på Vippa!Arabiske filmdager, som arrangeres for 15. gang på Vika kino 2. - 6. april, inviterer til Arabisk aften på Vippa, fredag 4. april. Det blir en tradisjonsrik helaften, med et kortfilmprogram på ca. 60 minutter, etterfulgt av en storslått konsert med Atlas band.
Program for kvelden:
12:00 - Aleppo Bahebek, Marrakech og de andre matbodene på Vippa er åpner, og selger mat og drikke gjennom hele dagen
19:00 - Vi viser fire kortfilmer på totalt 62 min; Sheikh's Watermelons (Tunisia, 23 min), The Kiss/Boussa (Algerie, 19 min), We Are in Need of Cosmic Help (Egypt, 5 min) og Bonboné (Palestina, 15 min)
ca. 20:00 - 22:00 Konsert med Atlas Band
Matbodene stenger 21:00 og baren 23:00
Vi gleder oss til å nok en gang fylle Vippa med film, musikk og dans. Etter kortfilmene spilles det opp til fest med Atlas Band, hvor vi som alltid finner Wassim og Ali på keyboard og Karim på fiolin. De har også med seg en gjesteartist fra Syria og dansetroppen “Tribal Troopers”. Vi kan garantere høy temperatur og god stemning blant bandets trofaste, danseglade publikum!
Det er gratis inngang til både film og konsert.
Det er kun drop-in og ikke mulig å reservere bord, det kan derfor være lurt å møte i god tid for å sikre deg en god plass til filmen, velkommen!

Sheikh's Watermelons (Kaouther Ben Hania | Tunisia | 23 min)
Sheik Taher er kjent som en respektert imam. En dag går han med på å be for sjelen til en kvinne han ikke kjenner, noe som skal vise seg å skape store problemer for ham.
The Kiss/Boussa (Azedine Kasri | Algerie | 19 min)
Meriam og Reda er to algeriske elskere som ennå ikke har fått sjansen til å kysse hverandre. Å få det til skal vise seg å bli en stor utfordring, og det store spørsmålet er: Vil de klare det?
We Are in Need of Cosmic Help (Ahmed Emad | Egypt | 5 min)

Experience the best of arab film, music and food at Vippa!
Arab film days, which take place at Vika Kino on April 2nd - 6th, invite you to an Arab evening at Vippa, Friday 4th of April. It will be an eventful evening, with a short film program of approximately 60 minutes, followed by a concert with Atlas band.
Program for the evening:
12:00 - Aleppo Bahebek, Marrakech, and the other food stands at Vippa open, and sell food and drinks throughout the day.
19:00 - We screen four short films: Sheikh's Watermelons (Tunisia, 23 min), The Kiss/Boussa (Algeria, 19 min), We Are in Need of Cosmic Help (Egypt, 5 min) og Bonboné (Palestine, 15 min)
Ca. 20:00-22:00 - Concert with Atlas Band
The food stands close at 21:00 and the bar closes at 23:00
We look forward to filling Vippa again with film, music, and dance. After the short films, Atlas Band, with Wassim og Ali on keyboard and Karim on violin, will get the party going. This year the band brings with them a surprise guest from Syria, as well as the dance group Tribal Troopers. This concert is something you wouldn't want to miss, and we guarantee a good atmosphere, with the band's loyal, dance-loving audience!
There is free entrance to both the films and the concert. We recommend arriving a little in advance to secure a good spot for the movie, welcome!
