About this Event
This Arabic calligraphy program will provide older adults with a fulfilling and therapeutic experience by bridging cultural understanding through art. Learning the strokes and Arabic words like "patience" (صبر) and "gratitude" (شكر) will promote mindfulness, calmness, and self-expression, benefiting mental health. The focus on these words will also serve as powerful reminders, encouraging resilience and appreciation in daily life. Participants will engage with a timeless artistic tradition, connecting with Arabic culture while fostering creativity, focus, and a sense of community.
