Yes! It’s time to get your teams together for the Aquarius Aquatics Spring Aquafest Gala! It’s time to create wonderful memories and enjoy every moment as we did in 2024~! Join us again for great friendship and incredible swimming moments. Let’s make more unforgettable moments together!
We are thrilled to extend an invitation to swimming clubs / school’s teams or individual swimmers to participate in the Aquarius Aquatics Spring Aquafest Invitational! This exciting event will take place on Sunday 31st August 2025, at the Curro Aurora Schools, Sundowner Aquatics Centre, where schools and clubs in our region will come together to celebrate the spirit of spring, friendship, and the sport of swimming.
The Invitational promises a day filled with competition and camaraderie. In addition to the thrilling races, we will have a variety of food vendors on-site, offering delicious options to keep everyone energized and refreshed throughout the day.

Entry Fee:
R250 per swimmer (Includes the Gala Admin Fee, gate access and event entries to a maximum of 4 events per swimmer.
Payment must please be made directly to Aquarius Aquatics Swimming Club. Banking details below:
Competition Age Groups
The gala will be held in a 10-lane format
Age Groups: 8 and under, 9 years, 10-11 years, 12-13 years, 14-15 years and 16 years.
Eligible Swimmers
Swimmers from school and school teams including SSA Level 1, 2 and 3 swimmers, 16 years and under.
• Swimmers may enter under the name of their swimming club or school.
• Schools may enter as a team or encourage pupils to enter the gala on an individual basis
The competition is not open to SA Junior National qualifiers (SANJ)
Ribbons
Ribbons will be awarded to all swimmers placed 1st to 3rd in each age group (Men & Women).
Officials
We appeal to all officials to come forward and assist the gala organisers with timekeeping. We will need a minimum of 20 timekeepers, referee, Judges etc
Officials Attire:
Black Shirts / Pants and white top,
No cell phones on poolside during the events.
