Aqua & Acre Market December Bookclub: My Mama, Cass

I first discovered My Mama, Cass as I was deep-diving and learning about how poorly Cass Elliot was treated during her life and even after her death. This memoir, written by her child, gives her back her own voice and the respect she deserves.

Cass Elliot was the powerhouse voice of The Mamas & The Papas, one of the most iconic bands of the 1960s, known for hits like California Dreamin' and Monday, Monday.

In this two-week bookclub, we'll read this memoir, discuss it togheter, and reflect on the legacy she left behind.
