This year, we're focusing on interventions in public spaces and nurturing emerging talent through our development program, A Night Called Quest (former Queer Lab).Well before 'Pride Week', we start things of at De Cinema with a special screening of Love Lies Bleeding. At Dingen Die Niet Verkopen, you can visit a group expo organized by artists that participated at previous editions of our queer lab.
Collaborating with the MAS Museum, you can encounter queer artists in the museum area on Friday August 9th and Sunday August 11th. From eco-feminist haunting drag to queer quantum harping: join us for more performance in the basement of Dingen Die Niet Verkopen those same days. Laura Boser and Maya Wuytack welcome you for their workshops at unique spots at the MAS.
Finally, August 30&31 festival-within-a-festival A Night Called Quest shows 10 young queer makers after a 4 week residency. They worked at different partner locations in Leuven (30cc), Brussels (Bronks) and Antwerp (De Studio). Last weekend of August it all comes together at De Studio!
