Join us for our global workshop series! This one-day, interactive workshop is ideal for anyone who is new to APx500 or looking to refresh their knowledge and skills. You’ll gain hands-on experience with the software across various applications, from R&D to production line environments. The workshop will focus on practical exercises led by our expert instructors, who will lecture on various topics, demonstrate the software’s features, and guide participants through exercises to reinforce each lesson.
Audio test and measurement – What’s Special About Audio Measurement?
- Units of Measure – Overview of Vrms, Vp, VDC, Pa, FS (dBFS) and D
- Overview of APx based audio analyzers
- High-level tour of the UI – The standard tour/demo of the APx UI (Signal Path Setup, Sequence Mode Basics, Bench Mode Basics, Level Measurements, Distortion & Noise, Frequency Response, Phase, Crosstalk, The Input Monitors (including the audible monitors)
- Spectrum Analysis – Fundamentals of FFT analysis
- Sweeps vs Frequency, Level, Time
- Open Loop Measurements
- Advanced Bench Mode Measurements – General Use, User defined sweeps, Continuously Updating Transfer Function
The class will be held from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with breaks and lunch provided. Parking at the venue is available for a fee of $25.
All participants will need to bring a computer with the latest APx500 software installed. A software license will not be required, we will use demo mode for the practical exercises. The latest software version is here: https://www.ap.com/software/latest-software/
