April Swinging on the Stour
Canterbury’s new regular swing dance club at the atmospheric riverside Mooring Cafe & Bar, home to the Canterbury Punting Company.
Featuring a great mix of Big Band Swing, Jump Jive, Boogie Woogie, Gypsy Jazz, Early Rhythm’N’Blues, Western Swing, Hillbilly Boogie, Broadway and Movie Melodies, Latin, Exotica and Calypso from the 1930’s to the early 1950’s.
7.30pm Solo Charleston class with guest teacher Emma Claydon.
8pm-10pm 1920’s to early 1950’s music for dancing.
No strict dress code but vintage style is always appreciated.
