We are so excited to open our yoga offering to the community each month with a gentle, beginner yoga class on the Sunday eve nearest the full moon. The full moon gives yogis the opportunity to refresh, rejuvenate and release any built up tension or stress.
Practicing yoga during a full moon and aligning your energy with this lunar phase will encourage your body and mind to feel grounded, serene and fulfilled.
CLASS STYLE: Hatha is Sanskrit for balance between sun and moon, yin and yan energies.
We chose a hatha style class for our community class, intentionally, to make it physically and mentally accessible to people who
have never practiced yoga
who do not know poses by name or
have the ability to sit for long periods of time.
This class is engaging as we teach how to move, breath and enjoy each pose.
Pricing: $33
Donations- through the profits of this class we have been able to send money to Detroit Dog Rescue AND help a Brighton local family in a time of grief and financial struggle. Win-Win-Win!
