About the Presenter:

Ali Ezzeddine, Project Scheduler/Delay Analyst, Systech

Ali is a Professional Engineer and Project Management Professional with over 15 years of experience overseeing and managing project controls functions including cost, schedule, and risk on multi billion projects including rail, highways /roads, water treatment plants, liquefied natural gas plants, refineries, pipelines, and buildings with values of up to CAD7bn. He is currently working on a major transportation program in Ontario.


About the Presentation:

Ali will demonstrate that what is right for one project is not necessarily right for another. He will discuss best practices for the establishment of a robust and integrated project controls function and outline how added value is achieved, with reference to AACE recommended practices.

Using practical examples, he will explain the importance of coordinating the schedule, costs and risks and why it is crucial to avoid a silo approach.
