About this Event
SF Camerawork's monthly critiques offer members the opportunity to share and receive feedback on their current projects. April's critique will be led in-person by Nora Lalle; Artist, Curator, and the Founder of Pamplemousse Magazine, a print publication dedicated to film photography.
If you are interested in presenting at the critique, please email [email protected] in addition to registering here.
Presenter slots are on a first come first served basis.
When: Tuesday, April 29, 6-8PM
Location: SF Camerawork, Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture, 2 Marina Boulevard Building A, San Francisco, CA, 94123
Five/six photographers have 20 minutes at each critique to present their work and receive feedback from the critique leader and the group. In addition to the five/six photographers presenting work, there are also typically 15 - 25 other members who tune in to observe, comment, and ask questions. Critiques are intended to be as collaborative as possible, and we encourage all participants to engage in the conversation!
This event is reserved for current SF Camerawork members. Want to join as an SF Camerawork member? Sign up HERE.
Nora Lalle's artistic work explores collective and individual memory, storytelling, community, and changing landscapes through photography and collage. Her curatorial and editorial work focuses on highlighting emerging artists and creating opportunities in print and on walls for underrepresented voices.
Professionally, Lalle has worked at museums and galleries including FAMSF and Fraenkel Gallery, all valuable experiences that led her to carve out her own professional path. Currently her main focus is Pamplemousse Magazine and related exhibitions and collaborations.
