The Sunderland EMOMing 2025 season is in full flow at it's winter home of The Ship Isis. In case you weren't aware - EMOM (Electronic Music Open Mic) nights are a version of a regular open mic events but instead of traditional instruments (guitars, voices) these events are based around electronic instruments in whatever guise that may be (and it varies wildly). You can expect modular synthesizers, to home-made electronic instruments to electric guitars or vocal's getting effected heavily to grooveboxes and laptops. Anything goes (except acoustic guitars, that aren't ran through a pedal board)
EVERYONE is welcome, whether it's to sit and watch, or to come and play.
Always best to pre-book slots if you want to guaranteed spot to play.
